Team Leader

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

Viztech is on the hunt for a talented advanced PHP Team Leader with all the skills to fill a contract working on PHP based projects. Ideally you’ll have a solid background in PHP, associated technologies.

During your employment, you’ll gain experience in development utilizing one of the most innovative techniques out there as well as gaining in depth exposure to a number of other well known open source applications and their own underlying frameworks.

Preferable:

- Have at least 2 years of relevant experience as Team Leader
- Experience of PHP, CakePHP or Zend Framework based Projects
- Ability to coordinate with multiple projects and development teams
- Strong understanding of web standards, usability/user experience, accessibility and software development principles
- Good English knowledge both written and spoken is required
- Persons having Certification in the related field will be an added advantage.

Job Description
We are looking for experienced “Sr. Web Designers” with strong graphic & web designing background to utilise skills and creativity to come up with new, and innovative designs for websites, landing pages, micro sites, banner ads, etc. Candidates will be required to provide examples or portfolios of user interfaces they have designed and implemented.

The role is fast paced and requires the ability to adapt to different situations.

You MUST have:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Photoshop, HTML, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
- Strong knowledge of web standards
- Experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator.
- Ability to develop HTML pages from PSD
- Able to do tablesless CSS design i.e. Web 2.0 designs creation
- Capacity to meet deadlines
- Ambitious, resourceful, organised, outgoing and a team player

Preferable:

- Have at least 2 years of relevant experience

- Designing UI & wireframe Design, web templates and ad banners
- Create/translate ideas, workflows and wire frames into valid, structured web pages. Candidate must be able to develop usable and flexible layouts using best practices. Translate concepts and information into visually compelling user interfaces under tight deadlines

Jquery Programmer/Developer

We make extensive use of jQuery and are also developing several open-source jQuery plugins geared for enterprise use.

Your work must function correctly on Firefox, Safari, Opera and (sorry…) MSIE. We’re happy for MSIE to show a more basic interface that will be progressively enhanced when viewed by a browser that isn’t broken.

The ideal candidate will be versed in jQuery, progressive enhancement, AJAX, semantic HTML, accessibility (ideally ARIA) and be extremely self-motivated and passionate about their work.

Members of the Front End Development team are expected to create valid and standards-compliant code that focuses on delivering the best possible user experience to all of our customers.

Minimum Technical Qualifications

HTML, XHTML, and CSS – Candidate must be able to hand-code to standards without error. Candidate also must possess a deep understanding of keeping code, content, and presentation separated.

Object-oriented JavaScript Programming – Candidate’s experience must include class creation, object instantiation and inheritance. Candidate should also have extensive experience with JavaScript frameworks, preferably YUI or Ext JS.

Cross-Browser Support – Candidate must have experience building web applications that support an array of web browsers (Internet Explorer 6, 7 & 8; Firefox; Safari)

Web Accessibility – Candidate must have thorough knowledge of building web applications that meet Accessibility standards. Experience with WCAG 1.0 and Section 508 are a requirement. Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 and ARIA are a plus.
